About Me

I'm an author from the North of England, and I started writing books in 2023, with a passion for children's books.

I grew up reading Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy and Action & Adventure books - anything from Enid Blyton, Stephen King, to JRR Tolkien. I was also incredibly keen on TV programmes such as The Twilight Zone, Tales Of The Unexpected and The X-FIles, as well as some very well known 1980s movies!

I really took an inspiration from all of the above, as well having a natural passion for helping children. By combining the two and incorporating into stories themes of courage, resilience, inner strength and humour, I hope the books can benefit kids; as well as make them laugh!

Having published six books in just over two years, I was determined to fill a gap in the market for children's books that carry an underlying theme throughout, of supporting mental health in children.

As each book contains fourteen stories that can be completed in minutes, the stories themselves are digestible, quickly building a world and characters, creating a character arc and conclusion, as well as incorporating a moral and learning at the end of every story.

As you can see, the genres can shift pretty quickly! From stories about adventures in space fighting aliens, to tales about self-love. Every book carries a number of messages within it and should appeal to a variety of ages and tastes.
